The most competitive model "Spec.C" among the Impreza WRX STi series is upgraded further up to 2005 model.The model enhanced in its competing power is scheduled to be homologated in FIA Group N in 2005 and will play an active role in the worldwide rallying field.
* 2005 FIA Group N homologation for the model will become valid at 1st of January 2005.

Main improvements in 2005 model(WRX STi spec C)
(In comparison with 2004 Group N Homologated Car <A/N5656>)
- Weight reduction of 70kg was achieved by light glass, thinner roof plate and aluminum boot lid etc.
- Strengthened of hub(Front/Rear) including adopting P.C.D.114.3.
- Improved by high caster angle front suspension. Introduce aluminum rear lateral link.
- Turbocharger with ball bearings which enhance engine response
- Rear crossbar which improves body rigidity
- Large water tank for intercooler water spray to ensure stable and sustained engine performance
- Air cooled engine oil cooler
- Yaw rate control is newly introduced to drivers control center differential.

- Although STI does not develop certain Group N parts such as suspension, dog gearbox, rollcage homologated by ASN, safety fuel tank, carbon interior and exterior parts, STI Group N base company in Europe(Prodrive, TopRun and Tommi makinen Racing) do deal in them. Correspondence will be operated only by the language of the country or in English.
