Over the 4th weekend of April, more than two of newest Subaru Impreza showed the brilliant performance in national championship category in Europe.
In German, Wallenwein Rally Sport driver, Sandro Wallenwein finished second at the Hessen Rally Vogelsberg, the third round of the Deutsche Rallye-Meisterschaft (DRM) which was held from 24-25 April, in the latest Subaru Impreza.
This event was fought by over the nine stages with 121.06 km. Wallenwein was leading this rally until he had issues with clutch on his machine. This lost him over a minute and dropped down to second place. He missed the victory by only 10 seconds. The points Wallenwein gained on this event puts him in second place with 64 points, 7 points behind from the leader with four events still to go. The team will be competing in Terre de L'Auxerrois in France as a test for Rally Sardinia on May, which they are competing in.
The next round of DRM, round 4 "Sachsen-Rally" will be taken place from 7-9 May.

Meanwhile, Enrique Garcia Ojeda also took second place in the second round of the Spanish Tarmac Championship, Rally Islas Canarias. The Subaru Rally Team Spain driver lost time after a spin during leg one in his newest Subaru Impreza. Despite this, Ojeda recovered ground on leg two, setting fastest stage times on SS9 and SS10 and moved up to second spot to finish the event.
